Local Missions
On the fourth Sunday of each month volunteers from Grace Church assist residents at New Bridge Medical Center in attending a vibrant worship service.
On the second Friday of each month volunteers from Grace Church prepare, deliver and serve lunch to the homeless at Bergen County Housing, Health and Human Services Center.
One of the most exciting means of sharing the Gospel is our Vacation Bible School which takes place in June for four evenings of fun, games, singing, dancing and lessons from the Bible. Each summer we have a new theme and a
great program that the entire church takes part in.

Short Term Missions and Missions Training
Each year we send out members from our church to join mission organizations to sow the seeds of the Gospel and help the needy.
Urbana is a college student mission conference and we send a group of college students to St. Louis, Illinois to attend this important mission conference sponsored by InterVarsity. We hope to instill the importance of God’s calling and hope for His will to be done among us in raising up short term or long term missionaries from our church.
The purpose of Challenge Youth Conference (CYC) is to meet the needs of our church teenagers who are growing up in a society that often is indifferent to living a life for Christ. The vision of CYC is to maintain a positive program, which empowers our teenagers with sound teaching and challenges and encourages them to live their lives for Christ. We send our Grace youth to attend this conference to help them to live outside the box, and to experience the fun and inspiring teaching at Challenge.
The Chinese Mission Convention (CMC) is a ministry whose ultimate purpose is to challenge and mobilize Christian Chinese and non-Chinese of the calling to be ambassadors for Christ in all walks of life, locally & globally, to reach Chinese, non-Chinese and unreached people groups. CMC is dedicated to empower individuals and churches to reach the world for Christ. Every two years Grace Church sends a group of individuals who seek to deepen their understanding of missions, to hear the witness of missionaries from around the world, and to expose our children and young people to the Lord’s work of spreading the Gospel.

Special Mission Events
The third Saturday in September is a special day for us each year at Grace as we celebrate both the Ridgefield Park
Street Fair and the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival. During the day, volunteers at the street fair offer passers-by the
chance to pray, and a Bible or Christian tract to help them to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
We also welcome passers-by to join our special evening program to celebrate the Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival at
our church. We have a fun evening of Chinese music, drama, dance, testimony and a short message about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And, of course at the end of the program we eat some famous Chinese moon cake and other typical Chinese snacks.

Summer Basketball Camp Outreach
OCM Grace Church participates in the Earthfest to celebrate a healthy environment and also to play some fun games at our booth.
Every year in October Grace Church holds a special Sunday Missions Conference where we hear first-hand from missionaries about their work for the Lord’s harvest. We meet on Sunday morning for worship and also have informative and inspiring workshops based on the missions theme. Both Chinese and English worship services provide the opportunity to hear from a special key-note speaker, while the workshops offer the chance to hear from local missionaries about practical ways to become involved in the Great Commission. We also provide a lively children’s program to help our children to be introduced to what God is doing through missionaries throughout the world.
In December we offer a wonderful musical presentation by our combined Chinese/English congregation choir. Each year we have a new theme to celebrate the good news that Jesus Christ was born to set humankind free from sin.
Each year we assemble shoe boxes lovingly filled with different items for needy children around the world with the message that Jesus loves them.
Our youth participate in this powerful fund-raising event to support World Vision and help build awareness in our church and community of the severity of world poverty, and to help feed the poor.
